Italian dialects

PrintE-mail

Italians are known for their boisterous personalities and love of speech. Thus, it is not surprising that there are quite a few different Italian dialects. To learn these different Italian dialects, you may want to employ a speech coach. Such a coach will be able to inform you of the various differences between the Italian dialects and will be able to help you to learn how to move your voice tools to create those different sounds. The exercises that a speech coach will teach you in order for you to learn the various Italian dialects will be indispensable to you for any other dialect you may choose to learn. This is why many famous actors recommend that young actors take speech lessons at least once in their lifetime. Though your speech coach may be specifically teaching you Italian dialects, you can apply those lessons to any other dialect you may need to learn during your lifetime. You can also learn Italian dialects through acting classes. Many acting schools offer various acting classes on dialects and there is at least usually one class solely dedicated, or at least partially dedicated, to Italian dialects because they are so prevalent in American movies.
